Finding the love of your life in the wilderness might be an exciting thought. Imagine how you might cross paths with a nature lover and maybe fall in love, get married, and have lots of adventure. It doesn’t seem that impossible.
An outdoor enthusiast is a person who loves sports and recreational activities that are done in nature. They prefer to spend their free time with hiking, mountain biking, camping, or white water rafting in the Arkansas River.
But before you date an outdoor enthusiast, here’s what you should know.
They are independent
Nature lovers are very independent. As much as possible, they don’t like to be controlled. They know what they want and who they want, and there’s no stopping them. Hanging out with your friends will never be an argument. In fact, they might encourage you to have a life of your own.
They are low maintenance
Materialistic isn’t in their vocabulary. They may like a few known brands or so, but they would rather save up for an exciting trip coming up than to buy a Louis Vuitton bag. Just a tip if you’re dating one, skip the expensive stuff and surprise them with an outdoor activity they haven’t experienced yet.
They are open-minded
It may look like they would take advice very lightly because of how independent they are, however, they are up for anything including suggestions on your where you’d like to spend your date. They whole-heartedly take your opinions and try to understand where you’re coming from.
They are determined
Their bucket list would be half-accomplished by now of how determined they are in almost everything. They have the eagerness to be successful in anything they put their mind to, like climbing Mt. Everest. They like to stick to their instincts and take the risk.
They are appreciative
A simple gift on their birthday would be most appreciated. To them, the thought does really count. Remember, money doesn’t buy their happiness. Simplicity is their way of life.
Meeting a person who loves all of God’s creation is life-changing. You get to appreciate the beauty of life, an example would be Mother Nature’s breathtaking views. You learn that things shouldn’t be taken for granted and everything has a value. Your world will be a little different, but if you ever get a chance to meet one, try not to let go of them.
